Build it and they won’t come…..
Most preservation projects rely on outside funding to build and maintain. And most depend on visitors to stay afloat. Patricia Hubbard, vice president of National Council of Tourism Directors, states that any attraction needs local, community support to gain recognition. She suggests approaching the Convention and Visitors’ Center, tourism office, area hotels and economic development associations. The next level of support can be elicited on the state or regional level.
